A Quiet Place is a song about life in Yangon in 2021. The thing that gave me inspiration for this project was the sheer idea of isolation and hopelessness that we as a people felt as a whole. It was a time when no news could be trusted. It was a time when we feared each other and the people that oppressed us. We couldn’t trust anybody and simply going about in your streets could end with a bullet in the skull. This prompted me to work on this project that I look back on fondly today and finally after 3 whole years, I have decided to release this track and well it’s coming on the 18th of May so stay tuned folks. here’s a line from the song: but life goes on and you’ll move on and wounds go numb you’ll figure out, you’ll forget the bloody carpet wrapped around your brother now but it’s all that I can think about. - Mastered by Mixea.commore
